The PhD Programme in Cultures, Literatures, Rights, Tourism and Territory is characterised by an interdisciplinary approach and an international outlook, with particular attention to the dialogue between local and global dimensions.

Research and training activities integrate linguistic, literary, artistic and visual studies with the analysis of territory, landscape, and cultural, social and legal dynamics.

The programme, also through the use of new technologies, aims to develop advanced research skills applicable to projects of cultural enhancement, territorial development and sustainable tourism, in full respect of environmental, artistic and cultural values.

Activities take place in the University spaces assigned to the Department, with the administrative and organisational support necessary for their operation.

According to research needs, some activities may also be carried out at off-site locations.

The Department provides PhD candidates with spaces dedicated to individual study and collaborative work, including the Student Hub and the shared areas of the internal courtyard.

The Library of Humanities and Modern Languages, laboratories and fully equipped classrooms are also available, with institutional Wi-Fi access throughout the परिसर.
